This year seems to be slipping by so fast and the season has definitely shifted. We seem to be getting more rain than sun these days and while I do very much enjoy the cooler weather, I’m missing carefree summer days outdoors.
So in an attempt to hold on to our family’s sun-soaked memories, I put together a mini album featuring our top 10 summer adventures. I could actually add some more but for this post, 10 seems like a good number to start with.

I’m so very fortunate to partner with one of my fave brands, Everyday Explorers Co, for this mini project! Most of the materials I used are from them and are a mix of fresh releases (just last month!) and products that will soon be available (next week!) at their web shop.
Allow me to walk you through the album and all its elements…
JOURNAL COVER
I used a passport-sized kraft journal with dotted pages and used the OFF WE GO acrylic stamp set to create the pattern on the cover.

I really love how this turned out specially because the stamps are just the perfect size!
PHOTOS
After making a list of the events I wanted to include in the album, I picked the photos, one for every highlight, and printed them using my Instax SP3 printer. It’s a mini album after all.

PAGE MARKERS
Each spread features one summer highlight. I put a number marker on the top left of every spread.
This is where EE’s CALENDAR DAYS stamp set, which is coming out 2nd week of July, came very handy. I also incorporated some of the tiny stamps from the OFF WE GO set into the markers.
PRINTABLES
These 3×4 printable cards by Everyday Explorers Co made it quick and easy for me to fill my spreads. The ones I used are from the FRESH AIR and SLURP PL kits, plus some from EE’s free printable card set from last May called POOLSIDE.

I placed a card on the right side of the spread and wrote on it my thoughts about what’s happening in the corresponding photo, making sure to include details I don’t want to forget.
EMBELLISHMENT
The most fun part for me is adding the finishing touches. Everyday Explorers recently released the best stickers sets for travel and adventure journaling. They’re so relevant and irresistibly cute, I practically put them on every page!

I used the EN ROUTE and TRAVEL TAG washi tapes repeatedly as well because they seem to go with almost anything.
So there goes my summer 2019 mini album! I’m so sure I’m gonna have fun flipping through this and reminiscing during days I’m stuck and cozy at home on a rainy day.

Everyday Explorers Co has a wide selection of stamp sets, stickers and printables in many different themes. What’s great about them is that you can totally mix and match because the designs complement each other beautifully. But even just a single set can get you a long way. I particularly see the FRESH AIR stamp set appearing in my journals and scrapbooks over and over.
