Yesterday was a lovely Mother’s Day so Kayo took me and the kids to the park. (Summer isn’t in any of the pictures because she was sleeping in her stroller!) There was barely anybody there so we had a pretty pleasant time. Afterwards, we had souvlaki for dinner. Happy Mother’s Day to me! :D Read More
There’s no one like you, Mom!
To my Mom, mother-in-law, sisters-in-law and friends who are Moms or about to become Moms — I pray you have the most blessed Mother’s Day! We are all mothers but what makes us different from each other are the children we have brought into this world, the children we love and care for. They make each one of us unique. It’s amazing how God brought these precious human beings into this world and specifically appointed you and me to mother them. It is an immense responsibility that is tough to replace and also a very special blessing. So today, my prayer for all of you Moms is for the Lord Read More

Mermaid
The sea is everything…Its breath is pure and life-giving. It is an immense desert place where man is never lonely, for he senses the weaving of Creation on every hand. 14 + 14 = 28
So I turned 28 last week. I know it’s quite late to be posting a birthday entry now but this is my blog and I believe I can write anything I want when I want (hehe), so here goes… I like to celebrate my birthday by doing two things: thankfully remembering what has happened and looking hopefully to the future. In that way, the celebration is meaningful and exciting. So here’s a list of 14 things I’m most grateful for and 14 things I’m looking forward to this year. There’s a lot that I can think of but, hopefully, narrowing it down to this number will make it easier for me to write Read More
Weekend Snapshots #4: Beach Trip
Went on a trip to San Juan, La Union last weekend with my family. I decided to put the photos my husband and I took from my phone and Nikon digicam into a collage. Of course it’s mostly baby photos! I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. Maybe I’ll even print this out and put it on my wall or something so I can keep the memory of the beach at home with me…or I’ll just keep going to the beach with my family, which we’ll most likely do! The Alphabet Art Project: A is for Apple
While looking through some art blogs, I came across Oana Befort’s alphabet illustrations. It’s a project she started where she paints an animal for each letter of the alphabet. Her work is so beautiful that I was inspired to take up watercolor painting again. I’m no near as good as her but I’m taking up the challenge and I’ve decided to start my own alphabet series. As you see, i’m starting out simple but I hope to produce better, more intricate things as I go. I’m doing this to improve my drawing, have more things to share in my blog and be continually inspired. But also, I’m doing it for my Read More
Weekend Snapshots + Inspiration Palette #3: Picnic!
Last Saturday was a day too beautiful to waste so my family and I headed out to the park for a picnic. We played, took photographs and I also got to do some sketches for a new art project I’m working on. It was a lot of fun and I hope to go out on more picnics this summer! Read More
