It’s all so sudden and unexpected yet it’s God’s brilliant answer to our prayers. After two great years at our current apartment, we’re moving again and it’s all happening within the next few weeks!
This explains why I have not worked on any crafts lately and have been silent on the blog for some time. We have been busy packing and moving our belongings, as well as having some cabinets made and additional fixtures installed. Last weekend, we spent the afternoon at the home depot looking for materials and checking prices.

They say moving houses is the most stressful life event and I do understand why, but I also think it’s one of the most exciting things because it’s a fresh start! It’s like a giant blank slate. You get to fix and decorate your own living space and make new memories with the people you share your home with. I’m particularly excited because in this new house, our daughters will share their own separate room and get to have their own space to play. I’ve been pinteresting children’s room decor ideas and I have found so many wonderful decorating projects I would like to do.
Of course, fixing up a house and making it look nice takes a bit more time and doesn’t happen until we’ve actually moved. Our main goal now is to be able to transfer all our things safely and efficiently. But when we do, it’s going to be so much fun!
We will most definitely update the blog about the move and the home decorating projects I can’t wait to get my hands on!
