I have been doing Project Life for five years now. I had just realized that! I started scrapbooking using the pocket page system in 2014 and have been documenting our family’s special moments since. That’s all of Jo’s life! She is my youngest daughter and lately, has been the one looking through my PL albums the most! Her favorite parts are her birthday highlights of course. She enjoys looking at her baby photos and pointing out her party themes carefully documented year after year. She, as well as my two other daughters, love to notice the little details and have fun reminiscing together.

The details really make all the difference. Even though I scrapbook almost all the same occasions — birthdays, anniversaries, Christmases — the details will always be different each year. There will always be a new story to tell and these distinct moments are what marks our growth as individuals and together, as families. I haven’t gotten tired of documenting it all because it shows me just how my children and my family have grown through the years! It reminds me to be grateful and to look forward with hope to the future.
Completing our 2018 family album had been pushed aside and delayed but I also realize how much better it had been to compile the memories after enough time had already passed. It made the process a little more meaningful and exciting because there was a sense of nostalgia. Some of last year’s highlights were: Kayo ranking top 2 Philippine Brewer, my eldest turning 7, Jo celebrating her birthday at Dream Play, our roadtrip to the horse ranch then Zoobic for Emma’s 6th, and of course, Christmas. There are several more and you can see them together in the flip through video I made posted down here. Enjoy!
Don’t hesitate to message me if you have any questions about this scrapbooking system.
