Our seventh craft project this Christmas is something that sounds sweet and cheerful to the ears… We made handheld jingle bells!

This one was part of a Christmas workshop I held last Saturday at one of our favorite places in town, Quriocity, and in collaboration with my friend Coeli. We called it A Night of Carols where kids and kids at heart spent the evening learning Christmas songs, dancing, playing games and working on their own music makers.

Aside from the bells, we were so fortunate to have been provided by Craft Easy Philippines with such festive and colorful craft materials to use for decorating our jingle bells. I love what everyone came up with! I also love how the bells made music as we worked. Emma even said it sounded like fairies chattering!
After finishing our own handheld jingle bells, we gathered to sing a few more songs and used our brand new instruments to play along the guitar. We shook, swayed, twirled and jiggled! The kids were so delighted and even us adults had a lot of fun. It was a night to remember and we hope the rest of our celebrations this season are filled with music too.

Special mention to Fujifilm Instax for providing us with film to capture our wonderful moments at A Night of Carols.
