Every year, I acquire a new pin to add to my Christmas pin collection. It’s a mix of store bought pins, gifts and one I made myself.

This fascination with holiday pins started six years ago when I made this felt holiday brooch with rhinestones. I realized how quickly it can make a regular outfit cheerful and festive. So I’ve turned wearing them into my own little Christmas tradition ever since.

This year, I decided to make some with and for my daughters. Using some leftover felt, assorted beads and sequins, and a plastic sheet from a toy packaging, we created these fun shape shaker pins.
We’re looking forward to wearing them to parties and get togethers this season!
