I usually paint to de-stress and it always works. The past week during free times when kids are asleep and I'm already feeling sick of doing chores, I've just been watercolor doodling. It's a great way to clear the mind and rest the spirit. It's almost like praying to me. I pick up a brush, open up my paint set and without thinking or planning too much, I draw. DIY Wednesday: Recycled Denim Coin Bank
The other day, I was looking for a piggy bank because I wanted to start saving spare change but I realized I didn’t own one! So I thought I’d make a quick art project out of it. I reclaimed a powdered milk tin can from our junk pile and chose one that wasn’t so old and rusty. To make it look nice, I decided to wrap it in style with denim.
