How was your Valentine's Day? I do hope it was filled with tender lovin' and sweet surprises! Kayo and I went out on a midday date the day before Valentine's knowing full well that traffic will be unbearable on the day itself. We also went to The Spa and had a much much needed pampering time! We've been hustling hard these days we thought it was about time we gave ourselves a little break. Apart from celebrating with my husband, I decided to surprise some of my mail swap friends by sending them Valentines mail. As mention on my post last February 5, I was originally planning on doing a Read More
Growing In Love and In Art…
Kayo and I first met when we were about twelve years old and from that very first day, we had already been making art together. We were both part of a childrens ministry group back then and were assigned to paint a backdrop for a church event. We found ourselves working together many times since then and eventually as young adults, became officemates at a small design studio. We became really good friends and I think also recognized that we worked really well together as a team. Fast forward to a few more years, we fell madly in love, got married not too long after, had kids soon after and now Read More
DIY Slogan Banner
I recently started following brand stylist and creative soul, Latonya Yvette on Instagram. While looking through her photos, I spotted the gold letter buntings over her bed which says, "Only Love." So I took those inspiring words and made them mine by turning it into a simple fabric banner artwork. As mentioned in one of my previous posts, I'm currently very fond of sewing, so I decided to sew the banner myself, using cream colored muslin cloth. It's quite easy to make Read More

Dearest Kayo, The last three years have been the best, most exciting years of my life so far and I am so grateful to have spent all that by your side. We never have boring conversations because you’re so smart and interesting. Whether it’s how TVs Read More
Valentines Day: Just The Way I Wanted It
It was my first Valentine’s Day being both a wife and mom. Kayo and I set a date knowing that both our Moms will not be available to baby sit so we would have to take Summer out to dinner with us. We even agreed on eating at a japanese restaurant near our place so we could easily go home in time for Summer’s bedtime without having to encounter heavy traffic. I totally didn’t mind. Being a new mom has taught me to let go of the ideal weekend, vacation or holiday where I could celebrate, party or relax the way I used to when I was single or newly-married. Now, almost everywhere I go, I have a Read More
