2019, the year before the pandemic, was a pretty eventful year. It was the year we let go of Kendo Creative (a small cafe and art hub we ran in Cubao), the year I went on a solo trip to Taipei, the year we went on many mini road trips as a family! A few months ago, I finally finished putting together my 2019 Project Life album. This is my sixth "year in highlights" album to date and maybe my last for now. I have been documenting our years in this pocket page system since 2014 when Jo was but an itty bitty newborn! It has been a lot of fun to make and my family seems to always enjoy Read More
Summer Highlights Mini Album
This year seems to be slipping by so fast and the season has definitely shifted. We seem to be getting more rain than sun these days and while I do very much enjoy the cooler weather, I'm missing carefree summer days outdoors. So in an attempt to hold on to our family's sun-soaked memories, I put together a mini album featuring our top 10 summer adventures. I could actually add some more but for this post, 10 seems like a good number to start with. I'm so very fortunate to partner with one of my fave brands, Everyday Explorers Co, for this mini project! Most of the materials I used Read More
Project Life: Kota Kinabalu 2017
At long last! After a year and a half, I've finally completed our Kota Kinabalu family vacation Project Life album! I have not spent enough time working on my PLs lately but I did find some down time last week so I decided to wrap it up and put the final details. So happy to complete it! It's fitting that I post it this Mothers Day weekend. As we all celebrate moms, I also choose to celebrate children and families and milestones. This trip was definitely a big moment for us as a family. It was our first time to take the kids on a vacation out of the country and it was also their first Read More

Micro Scrapbooking with the Pioneer DIY Planner
One of my favorite things to do to unwind is memory keeping. I enjoy taking stock of things we've done as a family, places we've been to, our learning experiences and milestones. While I can't keep track of every single moment, I do my best to document what I can -- things I know my kids and I would love to remember a few years from now. I get a lot of questions from friends and online followers about how I'm able to religiously scrapbook and document family memories when I already have my hands full with responsibilities at home. I always say that it's something you choose to work for Read More
Best Days: Project Life 2017
I didn't get to scrapbook during International Scrapbooking Day last Sunday, but I was able to start working on a flip through video of my 6x8 2017 Project Life album which I'm sharing at the end of this post. Our family shared many beautiful and strengthening moments together last year. It's definitely uplifting to look back on them. Even more so when you see it all laid out before you in words and imagery. I can't help but be thankful for life, my husband, kids, friends -- everyone and everything! So as a belated celebration of Scrapbooking Day, I'm sharing some of our best moments Read More
Christmas To Remember
It's 26 days before Christmas! I hope you feel it cause I do! And I'm loving the cool December breeze we get more often these nights. As we all prepare for the holidays and all the avid memory keepers get ready to document Christmas, I thought it's the perfect time to share my December Daily album from last year. Here are some photos of my favorite pages and I've included a flip through video of the whole album at the bottom of this post. The kids and I had a lovely time looking through these pages again as I was preparing for this post and it definitely puts me in the right Christmas-sy Read More

Handmade In Vietnam
Our trip to Vietnam over a month ago was not just all vacation. It was also meant for learning. Kayo devoted a lot of time exploring coffee, spaces and shop culture while I tried to find makers and crafters to connect with and learn new things from. OVERLAND CLUB While planning our itinerary and hit lists, I searched online for workshops I could attend in HCMC and one of the first things that popped up on my screen was Overland Club Pottery Studio. After having seen their site and services, I almost immediately reserved a slot because they are very reasonably priced, they hold regular Read More
Captured & Documented: 2015
I stayed home all weekend because the girls weren't feeling so well. They're doing okay now and I really think it was just the intense heat that had affected them badly. In between chores and tending to them, I decided to catch up on my scrapbooking and I finally finished documenting our 2015 life events. You see, I've decided not to do weeklies because I know well that it is something I am not going to be able to keep up with. I don't want scrapbooking to be a burden but an activity I delight in so I chose not to put myself under that pressure and stick to documenting occasions and Read More
